At 1812 England, our commitment to sustainability is embedded in every step of our production process, including the very foundation of our footwear our soles.

To produce the best possible sole units we partner with industry leaders in sustainable innovation, whose approach aligns with our values of responsibility, craftsmanship, and modern luxury.

Every sole unit is designed with the principles of circular economy in mind, prioritising resource efficiency and environmental performance. Through advanced processes, we are able to continuously reduces energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, water usage, and industrial waste.

Through a combined dedication to environmental stewardship our partners have earned ISO 14001:2015 certification for their Environmental Management System, an international benchmark for excellence in sustainability.

We produce our soles within a verified manufacturer to achieve GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification for TR and TPU soles, which contain a minimum of 45% pre-consumer recycled content and can reach up to 100%. In addition, they hold RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) certification across TR, TPU, and EVA materials.

These certifications are more than industry standards, they are a reflection of shared values between 1812 England and our manufacturing partners: a dedication to innovation, transparency, and conscious production.

By choosing certified recycled materials, we not only elevate the quality and performance of our products, but also ensure they meet the expectations of discerning clients and a changing world.
