03
How 1812 Will Use Your Content
1812 will use UGC with respect for the person who created it. We will not use content in a context that misrepresents, demeans, or acts contrary to the intentions of the creator.
Where possible and appropriate, 1812 will credit the creator when sharing their content. Credit may take the form of a tag, handle, or name reference depending on the platform and format.
1812 reserves the right to crop, reformat, or adapt content for technical or aesthetic purposes, provided this does not materially alter the meaning or nature of the original work.
04
Your Rights as a Creator
You retain full ownership of any content you create. The licence granted to 1812 under this policy does not affect your right to use, publish, or license your content elsewhere.
By submitting or tagging content, you confirm that:
You are the original creator of the content or have the rights to grant this licence
The content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
The content does not contain anything unlawful, defamatory, or harmful
You have the consent of any individuals who appear in the content
05
Withdrawing Permission
If you wish to withdraw permission for 1812 to use your content, contact us at info@1812england.com. Please include a description of the content and, where possible, a link or reference to where it was originally published.
1812 will remove the content from active use as soon as reasonably practicable following a valid withdrawal request. Please note that content already distributed in printed materials or archived campaigns may not be fully retrievable.
Withdrawal of permission does not affect any use of the content that took place prior to the request.
06
Commissioned & Collaborative Content
Where 1812 commissions or collaborates on content with a creator, photographer, or partner, separate written terms will apply and will supersede this general policy. Those terms will be agreed in advance of any commission or creative engagement.
If you are interested in working with 1812 on a commissioned or collaborative basis, please contact info@1812england.com.

Personal Data & Privacy
When 1812 uses your content, we may process personal information connected with it, such as your name, image, social handle, or caption. This is handled in accordance with the 1812 Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
If you have questions about how your personal information is handled in connection with UGC, please contact us at info@1812england.com.
08
Content Standards
1812 reserves the right to decline to use any content that conflicts with our values, contains offensive or harmful material, or does not align with the standards of the brand, regardless of whether it features 1812 products.
Declining to use content does not imply any negative reflection on the creator.
